Main Purpose of the Role
The IT Partner supports the connection between IT and a specific business area. This role contributes to understanding business needs, supporting the delivery of IT solutions, and assisting in IT planning and coordination. Working closely with senior IT colleagues and business stakeholders, the IT Partner plays a key role in facilitating communication, following up on IT demands, and supporting project execution. The role offers a strong learning opportunity for candidates with 0–3 years of experience who are eager to grow into a strategic IT business partner role. 

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the business translating business needs into IT tasks, plans, and priorities in collaboration with IT colleagues
• Assist with IT project coordination and management – including task tracking, meeting preparation, risk mitigation, and documentation
• Help maintain and communicate IT roadmaps and application plans
• Follow up on IT demands from business units and support prioritization and resource overview
• Contribute to stakeholder communication – help prepare and communicate updates, presentations, and status reports
• Collaborate with IT Operations to ensure smooth testing, implementation, and handover solutions
• Participate in vendor interactions, contract reviews, and service follow-up under guidance.

Decision Mandates
The IT Partner is authorized to make decisions on IT solutions and associated budgets within the scope of their assigned projects. All decisions must be aligned with the overall IT architecture or approved by the Technology Strategy & Architecture Lead and/or IT Management where appropriate.

Ideal Background

• A bachelor’s or candidate degree in IT, Business Administration, Digital Innovation, or a related field
• Internship or up to 3 years of experience in IT/business coordination, support, or projects
• Familiarity with enterprise applications, digital tools, or project work is an advantage
• Strong Danish & English skills (written and spoken).
